From day one, both interns praised Mamtus Nigeria's welcoming atmosphere. They described the staff as friendly, business-oriented, and supportive, making it easy to adapt to the workplace culture. Their transition into the team was smooth, thanks to an environment where colleagues are always willing to assist and share knowledge.
A major shared highlight for both was participating in online product trainings. One intern joined a session hosted by EGAMaster, where they learned about the durability and long-lasting quality of its tools. The other participated in a GYS training, gaining insights into product warranties and how defects are handled professionally. These sessions opened their eyes to international standards and best practices in the industry.
While their overall sentiments were similar, their daily experiences showed subtle differences:
One intern, Chioma, focused more on the technical and business development aspect, appreciating the exposure to running a business through a modern, computerized system.
The other intern, Suliat, was more engaged in customer interaction and administrative tasks, such as attending to walk-in clients, responding to emails, preparing sales invoices, sorting orders, and updating product prices on the company website.
They both faced the challenge of identifying and understanding the vast array of tools and equipment, but instead of feeling discouraged, they embraced it as an exciting and valuable learning curve. With the help of ongoing training and team support, they saw it as a step forward in building a strong career foundation.
One of the most appreciated aspects of their time at Mamtus was the company’s emphasis on team bonding and work-life balance. Both interns experienced the quarterly staff hangout and regular team lunches, which they described as refreshing and uplifting. These events helped them connect with colleagues beyond work tasks and strengthened their sense of belonging.
Their first 30 days at Mamtus Nigeria were filled with discovery, learning, and connection — and they are both eager to see what the future holds.
We’re proud to be part of their journey.
